SIGNED AHMAD AL-HASSANI, SAFAVID IRAN, LATE 16TH/EARLY 17TH CENTURY
Persian manuscript on gold-speckled paper, the panels with 4ll. and 5ll. of black nasta'liq written on the diagonal, the ground with fine gold floral scrolls, an illuminated cartouche above, the signature within cloud band on illuminated ground within a triangular cartouche below the text, one panel with thin gold-sprinkled paper borders, the other lacking its borders
Panel 7¾ x 4 1/8in. (19.8 x 10.5cm.)
