SIGNED MUHAMMAD BAQIR, SAFAVID IRAN, 16TH CENTURY
Persian manuscript on paper, 4ll. of flowing black nasta'liq on gold-speckled ground, an outlined triangular panel above and below, that below with the signature of Muhammad Baqir, between minor gold floral margins and gold and polychrome rules with a register of small panels of nast'liq similarly outlined, within further gold illuminated panels on white and peach card
