Of hexagonal form, the sides and shoulders with green bordered reserves, the sides with male and female figures in traditional Chinese costumes, two stylized flower sprays and large Chinese calligraphy characters, the shoulders painted with two butterflies, another insect and three Chinese characters, the circular detachable cover painted with a stylized floral spray, gilt rims, marked under base with red Chinese export overglaze lattice mark
