Rectangular, traditionally painted with St Dimitri in armour, holding a spear, with a half-length figure of Christ emerging from the clouds above, the oklad repoussé and chased with foliate borders, Cyrillic inscription beneath the Saint, apparently unmarked, burgundy silk backing
