LATE PERIOD-PTOLEMAIC PERIOD, CIRCA 6TH-2ND CENTURY B.C.
Seated with tail curled around right side, both ears pierced, with later gold hoop earring, with restoration, 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) high; a turquoise faience fragmentary shabti, holding pick and hoe, remains of 5 lines of hieroglyphs, 5½ in. (14 cm.) high, both mounted; and another turquoise faience shabti, 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high (3)
Provenance
English private collection, acquired by the present owner's grandfather in Paris in the 1950s-1960s.
