A GRAECO-ROMAN TERRACOTTA COMIC ACTOR'S MASK ANTEFIX

Probably representing a slave, the expressive face with deeply furrowed brow, large raised eyebrows above the pierced eyes, snub nose and wide open spout-like mouth, wearing a ribbed fillet in his hair decorated with ivy berries, mounted, 6¼ in. (16 cm.) high; and three other Greek terracottas including the figure of a draped female seated on a horse, 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high; a plaque with the upper part of a draped female, 5 in. (12.5 cm.) high; and a female head protome with elaborate hairstyle, 4 in. (10 cm.) high, all 7th-4th Century B.C. (4)
