The interior finely carved through layers of cinnabar lacquer with a landscape inhabited by two female figures and a small boy beneath leafy trees by a serene lake, the well carved with meandering branches of the sanduo, finger citron, peach and pomegranate, the exterior with a band of leafy scrolls intertwined with ruyi heads
