Sugata [configuration]: slender honzukuri, iori mune, saki-zori, chu-kissaki
Kitae [forging pattern]: tight itame, intermittent utsuri Hamon [tempering pattern]: suguha with some gunome, ashi, and nioi kuzure in the upper part of the blade
Boshi [tip]: o-maru on ura, ko-maru on omote
Nakago [tang]: ubu, katte sagari file marks, three mekugi-ana, ha-agari kurijiri
Nagasa [length of blade]: 70.4cm.
Koshirae [mounting]: in its itomaki-no-tachi koshirae, the saya aogai nashiji lacquer with paulownia mon in gold takamaki-e, matching metal fittings of silver with karakusa engraved in katakiribori, tachi tsuba with silver o-seppa
