A CLOISONNE ENAMELLED BOWL, EARLY 17TH CENTURY
with gently rounded sides and raised on a short foot, decorated in vibrant enamels to the interior with the four horses of Muwang galloping above foaming waves, the interior roundel with a yellow double vajra motif upon a turquoise ground, the exterior with scrolling lotus on a similar turquoise reserve -- 7 7/8in. (20cm.) wide.
