Oblong and on block feet, the rim of the hinged cover and feet each with Celtic knot decoration, the cover engraved with an inscription, wood lined, marked on bezel and inside cover, the base further stamped 'MADE IN ENGLAND'

The inscription reads 'Presented to H.R.H. The Duchess of Kent by 1 (Bomber) Squadron Royal Australian Air Force At Tengah 9th Oct. 52'
