Oblong, on geometric block feet, the cover applied with enamelled Royal arms with a label for difference within the Garter motto and with Royal duke's coronet above, engraved inside the cover with inscription, wood lined, marked on front and cover, the base stamped 'Elkington & Co.'
8 in. (20.3 cm.) wide
The Royal arms are those of The Prince George, later Duke of Kent (1902-1942).
The inscription reads Presented to His Royal Highness The Prince George, K.G. to commemorate the opening of the New Head Offices of the Birmingham Municipal Bank November 26 1933.'
