The carved galleried back centred by an heraldic device and flanked at each end by a crocket finial, above a shelf and panelled back decorated with gothic tracery and further heraldic devices, below three frieze drawers and a frieze carved 'Tyme' 'Tryeth' 'Troth' above two cupboards on a shaped plinth base, the central frieze drawer stamped 'EDWARDS & ROBERTS'
