A similar micromosaic, identified as depicting the Temple of Sibyl at Tivoli, is recorded in the Gilbert Collection of micromosaics. Though the Temple of Sibyl was a popular subject for micromosaics, the present view, showing the side of the temple with only three of its columns, is less common and precludes certain identification of the structure (J. H. Gabriel, The Gilbert Collection. Micromosaics, London, 2000, p. 207, no. 138).
