CIRCA 1760, CONTEMPORARY STAMPED GOLD MOUNTS
Naturally modelled as billing doves garlanded with flowers above a bundle of quivers and a banner inscribed in iron-red POUR MON AMOUR, the interior with flower-sprays, the hinged mount with flowers and scrolls above an engraved wreath (restored to bow of inscribed banner, domed box cracked and restored in several places)
