Half-title, title in red and black with vignette, 29 engraved plates, 3 folding, 10 full-page illustrations and 2 smaller illustrations (severe offsetting from illustration on verso of R4, a few plates starting to detach, occasional light spotting or thumb-soiling). Contemporary paper-backed pastepaper boards (backstrip torn in a few places with loss, fore-edge of front cover a little frayed, lightly rubbed). Provenance: T.
