With sighted barrel with low moulded breech, large flat border-engraved lock signed 'R. Sinckler' below an engraved scroll, figured walnut full stock formed with a pronounced swell about the ramrod-pipe, a raised moulding about the barrel tang, and the butt boldly stamped 'I', an Earl's coronet above, with brass mounts of regulation type, and shaped brass escutcheon engraved 'O', a coronet above, London proof marks
