Lot Essay

David O. Selznick had a number of Gone With The Wind scripts specially bound for key members of the cast and crew following the film's production, which he personally inscribed. Other examples sold through these rooms include those presented to Clark Gable [Rhett Butler] and Sidney Howard [screenplay writer].
