by the Safronov Porcelain Factory, Moscow, circa 1835
Of baluster form with a tall neck and wide flat flared rim, on a spreading foot and square plinth, the gilt body decorated with vertical alternating bands of white ground painted with a stylized garland of flowers, and blue ground decorated with a gilt floral design, the gilt handles with large foliate scroll, marked with dark blue underglaze and impressed Cyrillis signature 'SAFRONOV'
9 7/8 in. (25.5 cm.) high, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) wide with handles, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) diameter of the crater, 3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) x 3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) dimensions of the base
