by the Novii Brothers Factory, Moscow, circa 1820
Bulbous, on conforming foot, with flared rim, the white ground decorated with a portrait of a merchant girl, framed within a gilt oval band, with scroll handle, the circular saucer decorated with four arched cartouches each depicting a pastoral landscape, marked under base of the saucer with dark blue underglaze Cyrillic monogram 'N I'
Cup 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high, saucer 5 1/8 in. (12.9 cm.) diameter (2)
