A young lady holding a sheet of music, seated on a green-upholstered gilt-wood chair, her left arm resting on a book on a table with a vase of flowers, sheets of music and a letter, her high-piled curly grey-powdered hair falling in long coils onto her shoulders, wearing a white frill edged lavender and yellow changeant silk dress with low-cut decollete -- 73 mm diam., stamped gold mount.
