Original cloth, spines decorated in gilt with design of kangaroos on one and emus on the other (spines faded, some rubbing and slight spotting to sides).

FIRST EDITION of one of the most important books of early exploration in western Australia. The plates include 8 of reptiles and the colored plates are of native cave drawings. Ferguson 3228; Wantrup 131. (2)
