The famous love poems of mystical significance, Persian manuscript on buff paper, 278ff. plus 7 fly-leaves, each with 17ll. of flowing black nasta'liq in four columns, with double gold intercolumanr rule, text panels between polchrome rules, blue outer rule, red, blue and gold devices above each panel of text, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, previous folio with similarly illuminated shamsa, four similar headings throughout the text, with twenty contemporary miniatures, colophon at end of the first section dated Dhu'l-Qa'da 1007 and signed by Mu'iz al-Din Husayn Langari, the ends of sections two, three and four also dated Dhu'l-Qa'da, Dhu'l-Hijja and Safar the following year respectively, some smudging and staining, trimmed, later gold and polychrome lacquer binding with central oval of floral sprays, similar doublures
