Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 4ff. plus six modern fly-leaves, the first folio with 10ll. of black nasta'liq within black and gold rules, a gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece above, the other folios with 3ll. of large black nasta'liq, with lines of smaller black nasta'liq above and below, some written on the diagonal and framed by triangular illuminated cartouches on blue and pink grounds, text within gold and black rules, colophon signed 'abduhu Sultan 'Ali, waterstaining, small repairs, in gilt and stamped brown morocco binding
