Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 25 July 1992, original fitted burgundy presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with the Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1992 and its subsequent sale on 3 July 1992.

Consigned by the original owner, the watch has never been offered in public before and is furthermore preserved in very good original overall condition.

Launched in 1978, the celebrated Golden Ellipse with its unique blend of bold simplicity and formal purity has become one of the flagships of the Patek Philippe collection and is doubtlessly amongst the most instantly recognizable creations.
