Rectangular, the saint realistically painted, raising his right hand in benediction and holding the Gospels in his left hand, his silver vestments repoussé and chased with foliate and geometric motifs, the Gospels and halo enamelled with varicolor foliate scrolls, flowerheads and crosses within turquoise pellet borders, marked on lower edge
