1769, INTERLACED BLUE L'S ENCLOSING DATE LETTER Q, PAINTER'S MARK FOR CHARLES-NICOLAS DODIN, INCISED X AND A MARKS
The cup of tapering cylindrical form, painted with a girl crying over a basket of broken eggs and a gardener, the saucer with a shepherdess and a hound and a youth setting a trap, within gilt oval cartouches on a bleu nouveau ground gilt with cell-pattern (minor wear to gilt rims)
