A young lady, previously called Queen Mary, in décolleté lace-bordered white dress with red ribbon, blue-lined embroidered gold mantle, upswept dark hair
oil on copper
oval, 2½ in. (62 mm.) high, gilt-metal frame, the reverse with translucent blue glass on foil, a label on the reverse inscribed 'Queen Mary of England'
