CIRCA 1770, THE COVER LATER, UNDERGLAZE BLUE CROWNED CT MARK, INCISED H2 MARK
Oviform with an ear-shaped handle and curved spout, painted in a bright palette and gilt with Orientals with birds in cages and on a ring, before terracing and buildings below shell and scroll borders, the leaf-moulded handle and spout terminals enriched in gilding, the cover with a cone finial (replacement cover, slight wear to gilding)
