Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1914 and its subsequent sale on September 29th, 1919. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and original leather presentation box

Ignacy Jan Paderewski, a Polish pianist, composer and statesman was born in 1860 in Kuryl, a former Polish provence in Russia. The present lot was a gift presented to his personal valet Franciszkowi Pajdzie in 1940 for loyal and devoted service.
