With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1992 and its subsequent sale on June 11th of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 5000 from in 1992 and 1993 in limited editions number of 500 per year. This ultra thin automatic wristwatch became one of Patek Philippe's most successful designs.
Reference 5000 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by O. Patrizzi, vol. II, plate 1149, p. 275.
