Eric Mouchet has confirmed the authenticity of this drawing.

La Fondation Le Corbusier will include this work in their forthcoming catalogue raisonné of the drawings of Le Corbusier.

The subtle finish of this pastel is the result of using a wet paintbrush to smooth the pastel and give it a watercolour-like texture, a technique often applied by Le Corbusier in his drawings.
