The original portrait of Georgiana, Countess Spencer, by Sir Joshua Reynolds, P.R.A. is in the Spencer Collection at Althorp.
Another version of the present miniature was sold by the executors of Henry Pierce Bone's estate, Christie's, London, 14 March 1856, lot 153 (51 gns. to Liebeneheim).
