The broken D-shaped maple and kingwood crossbanded top with a leaf-and-berry edge centred by a fan and with ribbon-tied foliate and floral swags, above a tablet-centred frieze inlaid with foliate quatrefoil-filled roundels on square tapering, amaranth-banded legs inlaid with ribbons and with curved corner spandrels with rams' heads and spade feet, with a storage label indistinctly inscribed in pencil, the carcase probably 18th century, the veneers and decoration 19th century
