Each with a Corinthian column headed by a central gadrooned torch issuing three foliate-wrapped scrolled branches with circular drip-pans and tooled nozzles, above a plinth centred by Medusa masks and foliate-decorated circular base, one branch restored, lacking one drip-pan

A related example featuring a virtually identical rosette-headed Corinthian column and a sunflower-decorated stepped plinth is in the château de Fontainebleau and illustrated in G. Henriot, Le Luminaire de la renaissance au XIXème siècle, Paris, 1933, pl.202, no.4, while a further related example is illustrated in C. Bizot, Mobilier Directoire et Empire, Paris, 1976, p.71.
