ATTRIBUTED TO THE FLATFISH PAINTER, CIRCA LATE 4TH CENTURY B.C.
With a dog fish, flatfish and bream, swimming around a central garum (fish sauce) recess, two clams and a shrimp in the field, the recess with rays, dotted band around the edge, down-turned rim with band of laurel, details in added white
8 in. (20.3 cm.) diam.
