Copied from the author's copy, on horses and horsemanship (furusiyya), Arabic manuscript on blue paper, 14ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, each folio with 22ll. of black naskh, titles in red naskh, text within black and gold rules, catchwords, with 9 miniatures depicting horses and horsemen in various situations, one anatomical miniature, opening bifolio with fine floral illuminated headpiece and margins, colophon indicating that the manuscript was copied on the demand of the author, contemporary inscription on a fly-leaf with name of the owner Muhammad bin 'Ali bin Jabir and dated Rabi' II, later pasted note on the inside cover indicating that this manuscript belonged to Salman Pachachi son of Sa'd al-Din and give the date of AH 1273/1856-7, in marble paper cover binding
