A FINELY-CARVED RHINOCEROS HORN LIBATION CUP
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
Carved around the exterior with a continuous landscape inhabited by a scholar and his attendant below overhanging rockwork, all amidst pine and pawlonia trees, the openwork handle in the form of a gnarled pine trunk reaching over the rim of the vessel, the horn of an attractive dark honey tone
4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high, carved wood stand, gross weight 426g.
