The blade with masame hada with much ji-nie, suguha hamon of nioi, with bright, long kinsuji and ububa, suriage nakago, possibly Hosho School of Yamato, koshirae formed as knarled cherry bark inlaid with an ivory snake winding its way up the saya, the head emerging from the tsuka to form a menuki, the other menuki formed as an ivory skull, iron tsuba, fuchi-kashira and kojiri chiselled with dragonflies, Umetada School, the koiguchi and ring kurigata of silvered metal
