Two Porcelain Easter Eggs
Probably by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, late 19th Century
Each ovoid, the first with shaded blue body painted with stylised scrolling foliage and pastel blossoms, the second with white body painted on one side with a sprig of cherries and blossoms, the reverse with Russian inscription 'Christ is Risen!' with cherry sprigs above and below, both unmarked
3¾ in. (9½ cm.) high and smaller (2)
