The reverses of the circular bowls enamelled in green, rust, white and shades of blue on stippled ground, one with geometric central cartouche depicting two gryphons and flower on stippled ground, the rim with royal blue champlevé enamelled inscription 'bez soli bez khleba plokhaya beseda', the other with arabesque central cartouche containing a bouquet emanating from beadwork, the rim with royal blue champlevé enamelled inscription 'chernyi khlbeshko kalachu dushka', twist stems with knopped cylindrical finials enameled with white beads and light blue stylised flowerheads, one gilt, the other silver, marked on stems
