Marked Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, with Cyrillic maker's mark 'V.S.', Moscow, 1876
Cylindrical, the body decorated with a central polylobed cartouche enamelled with a troika in a snowy landscape surrounded by two vari-coloured stylised cockerels and foliate scrollwork, bordered with bands of alternate white and blue beads and stylised star motifs in old Russian style, the foot rim with a band of geometric motif, with angular shaped handle, marked under foot and on handle
