TWO JAPANESE WOOD PANELS
Meiji Period (late 19th century)
Decorated in gold, red, black and silver hiramaki-e and inlaid in ivory, mother-of-pearl and wood, one with an actor and a cat beside a wind-swept blind,the other with an oni in a rainstorm with a broken parasol
60½ x 37 cm.; and 57½ x 40½ cm. (2)
