A large coat-of-arms of Spencer quartering Wright impaling Shaw in front within three finely "pencilled" ribbon-tied bouquets, in the interior a diaper band issuing blossoms above a large cluster of flowers rising from a lotus leaf, all in an inky cobalt blue

Howard (op. cit., vol. I, p. 170) ascribes this order to Catherine Shaw Spencer and John Spencer (d. 1737), whose relative Viscount Harcourt commissioned an identically decorated service.
