Canon effilé en trois registres, avec guidon, frappé d'un poinçon au tonnerre octogonal, gravé de branches de volutes et de têtes de monstre, culasse circulaire en laiton signée 'Firenze', coupole en acier intégrant le levier d'armement côté contre-platine, platine renversée gravée d'une scène pastorale avec un musicien, signée 'Lorenzoni', canon gravé de volutes, feuillages et deux guerriers sur piédestal, l'un portant un aigle en vol, l'autre tenant un arc et une flèche, aux trois quarts, crosse en noyer façonné, plaque de couche charnire couvrant les magasins, et fausse baguette.

With slender three-stage sighted barrel struck with a mark on the octagonal breech section, frame incorporating a broad chiselled V-shaped rear-sight and engraved with sprays of scrollwork and monster-heads, rotating circular brass breech-block signed 'Firenze', steel dome-shaped cover opposite incorporating the cocking-lever, rounded back-action lock engraved with a pastoral scene involving a piper and signed 'Lorenzoni', steel half-length fore-end engraved with scrollwork, foliage and two Classical figures standing on pedestals, one holding an eagle aloft, the other clutching a bow and arrow, iron mounts including pierced rococo side-plate, trigger-guard engraved with sprays of scrollwork, highly figured walnut stock, finely engraved hinged butt-plate, and false ramrod.
