CASE: later purpose-made walnut case with fully glazed shade and wall bracket (not illustrated) DIAL: engraved and silvered dial with unusual engine-turned, pierced and interlaced centre design, blued steel hands MOVEMENT: pierced plates joined by six double-screwed pillars, triple chain fusees, train wheels with five crossings, dead beat anchor escapement, striking the quarters on a nest of eight bells and the hours on gong; pendulum, winding key
