The lozenge parquetry top with balustraded edge, over a panelled quarter-veneered frieze fronted with a drawer, the lockplate engraved 'P. SORMANI PARIS/10 r. Charlot', resting on curule-form fluted legs headed by fruit-filled basket capitals, joined by a fluted stretcher and terminating in frond-capped feet
