The shaped brocatelle d'Espagne marble top above a spreading pediment, the front with a cupboard door and a drawer with scrolled acanthus ormolu frames, the interior with two shelves, the fixed stand with a pull-out slide above a frieze drawer, on cabriole legs headed by pierced acanthus clasps running to scrolled sabots

The present lot is closely related to a secrétaire à abattant by Zwiener fronted by a vernis Martin panel which sold Sotheby's, New York, 26 October 2006, lot 137 ($42,000). Another illustrated in Lecoules, Antiquités, Paris, 1983, p. 30 sold Christie's, London, 25 February 1999, lot 67.
