A RARE SMALL GUANYAO BOWL
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
The rounded sides raised on a very slightly tapering ring foot, covered overall with a crackled, sea-green glaze now extensively degraded with fine buff mottling, the inside of the foot and base similarly glazed, the unglazed rim and bottom of the foot exposing the light grey ware burnt brown in the firing
