QIANLONG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The globular body painted in Ming style with simulated 'heaping and piling' with a broad frieze of composite flower scroll above a band of petal lappets and below a triple line border and trefoil cloud collar and foliate scroll bands on the shoulder, with a band of upright leaves at the base of the waisted neck and a further trefoil band pendent from a band of cresting waves at the top, raised on a foot encircled by a band of classic scroll
