Of shallow rounded form with wide flaring rim, on short conical foot, the centre decorated with two robed figures surrounded by scrolling vegetal motifs, rim with band of psuedo-calligraphy with swirling vegetal vine bounded by bands of lustre, underside of rim with swirling arabesques on white ground, areas of repainting, repaired breaks with some retouching
7 5/8in. (19.7cm.) diam.

Formerly UK private collection since 1970s from whom acquired by the present owner in 1998
